A 50% stake in British game developer Codemasters has been acquired by Reliance Big Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Indian giant Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group. The deal was officially confirmed by Codemasters today. Develop reports that Reliance's videogame division, Zapak Digital Entertainment, will be overseeing the investment. Zapak currently operates an online game portal at Zapak.com, a text-based MMO inspired by Wanted, and owns a large number of gaming cafes.
