With two predecessors in its wake, Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 is the third installment to hit Xbox Live Arcade, iPad, Steam, and the PlayStation Network. The DotP series has generally been known for pulling long-lost Magic players back into the game while also picking up some newbies like me along the way. This is largely due to the game’s ability to take care of every manual aspect of a Magic tournament in real life – counting, shuffling, placing counters, and defining attrib... (more)

Goichi Suda may be many things, but you probably wouldn't have expected that being a voice actor was among them. Known primarily for his work on cult hits such as Killer 7, No More Heroes and, more recently, Lollipop Chainsaw, the auteur's next project will feature his lovely voice, rather than the deranged ideas that spew from his twisted mind whilst sitting on the toilet. Angry Birds Space is pretty successful guys

According to Rovio's own blog, Angry Birds Space has just hit 50 million downloads in a little over a month. They also state that the game broke all of their previous sales records (which are probably mobile wide, and set by Rovio themselves), and is obviously a rip-roaring success. In addition to some earned boasting, the blog also hints that "something even bigger is on the way." Angry Birds Space Seasons, perhaps? (more)

The iPad was made to do many things, but windowed multitasking wasn't one of them. Leave it to the Cydia Store to provide a new app that delivers individual, rotatable, scalable, untabbed windows. Quasar, from developer Pedro Franceschi, let's you do just that across multiple apps -- without relying on home button double-taps or tricky multi-finger gestures. The video below makes it seem pretty magical, so take a look and let us know what you think. (more)
