There might be a new Kenshin game on the horizon

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1933 days, 15 hours, 28 minutes ago
Tuesday, May 01, 2012 8:23:40 AM GMT
Siliconera has dug up some potential new info regarding our favorite bad-gone-good anime hero, but not everything is set in stone. Evidently, a Rurouni Kenshin app is planned for May, and a PSP game may be in question. The real question however, is whether or not the game is a brand new title, or simply a new version or a localization of 2011's Kenshin PSP game. (more)

Given the Xbox 360's niche status in Japan, it takes more than a shiny exterior to lure customers to a new controller. For the Japanese release of the eye-catching new "chrome" Xbox 360 controllers, Microsoft and Capcom have bundled bonus Dragon's Dogma content. (more)

Tokyo Jungle's animal outfits are too much

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1966 days, 15 hours, 49 minutes ago

The PlayStation 3 game in which a humorously diverse population of animals has taken over a human-less Tokyo just got slightly more absurd. It's not enough that there are Pomeranians fighting lions in Tokyo Jungle; no, we need a cow dressed as a schoolgirl and a "hip hop" dog. You know -- for the stats! (more)

Samsung ships five million Galaxy Notes in just five months

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1967 days, 14 hours, 42 minutes ago
Wednesday, March 28, 2012 9:10:18 AM GMT
Five is an important number for Samsung's Galaxy Note. It has a 5.3-inch screen and now, just five months since it debuted Samsung has announced it's shipped five million units (the one million mark was crossed right around the end of December). That's certainly long enough for you to decide if you're in love with its super-sized frame or the accompanying S-Pen stylus, but unfortunately it has not been quite enough time for the highly-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich software update to be released. Call us masochists, but we were really looking forward to the stateside release of Japanese horror title Nanashi no Game, or its sequel, Nanashi no Game Me (trailer above) for the DS. Neither of these made the trip -- evil spirits are afraid of flying, we assume -- and now there is one more Nanashi no Game title we can feel left out on, Nanashi no Appli, out today for iOS devices in Japan.
