posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 2352 days, 5 hours, 56 minutes ago
Wednesday, June 15, 2011 6:54:02 AM GMT
Hideo Kojima said during a recent Kojima Productions podcast that the cloud data sharing system he created from dragonscales, Old Snake's mustache trimmings and cardboard boxes -- "Transfarring" -- will be available for every title his studio releases in the future. That means all of its games going forward, including the Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders re-releases, Metal Gear Solid Rising and the new Fox Engine game, will all presumably provide some connection between the PS3 and PS Vita. E3: I saw Shadow of the Colossus in HD and it was good

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 2360 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes ago

It's a real thing. It's playable. I saw Shadow of the Colossus HD tonight and I just thought you might want to know that it exists, and is real. We learned this week that it finally has a solid release, set for September, but it was nice to see it with my own eyes. It's no The Last Guardian, but it's a good stand-in for now. (more)

We knew you were dying to know what Sony was planning with those stereoscopic multiplayer display patents last year, so we took a look at Sony's new PlayStation-branded 3D display, just for you. True to its schtick, the stereoscopic display simultaneously displays two separate full screen images, hidden behind the smoke and mirrors of active shutter 3D technology -- while suffering only a minimal amount of ghosting. The dual-full-screen trick will only work with PlayStation 3 games specifically programme... (more)

With that in mind, there are a handful of focal points throughout the week that will assuredly strike you as high priority, and as such, we thought a roadmap guiding you to those particular moments -- whether you're in Shibuya, or Queens, or anywhere else for that matter -- would be of particular use. When Sony unveiled its PSN "Welcome Back" gift package to the world, some were impressed to see a few full retail PS3 and PSP games on the list. What's a few weeks of down time and potential identify theft if you can score a free download of LittleBigPlanet or inFAMOUS in the deal? Well, it looks like the “Welcome Back" package for Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia isn't quite as generous. There are a few games that overlap, but there are definitely some big changes. Instead of big-... (more)
