Well, with a renewed interest in Arma 2 (that thing you bought so you could play DayZ), Bohemia Interactive has released the 1.62 patch update for said game. There's quite a bit of fixes that not only help stabilize the large-scale military battles (as well as adding new video options and script commands for content makers), but most importantly this update helps makes "zombie hunts" less prone to crashing. The 'DROID X360' is so fake

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1766 days, 2 hours, 24 minutes ago
Wednesday, July 25, 2012 9:03:46 AM GMT
The DROID X360, a shady new device from Long Xun Software, does a lot to put images of more legitimate platforms in your head; copying the handheld look from Sony's Vita and sporting a name inspired by devices from Microsoft and Motorola. The handheld runs Android 4.0, has front and rear facing cameras, 8GB of internal storage, and comes pre-loaded with multiple emulators, which are about as legit as the rest of the thing. (more)

Getting stuck in an adventure game is one of the most frustrating experiences in gaming. When you're playing a platformer or an action game of some sort, you're usually tested in your reactions and your command of the mechanics. In an adventure game, you're at the mercy of puzzles designed to test your problem-solving skills and when those skills fail you, it's maddening. (more)

Review: SteelSeries Siberia V2 Frost Blue USB headset

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1767 days, 2 hours, 46 minutes ago

I have a lot of gaming headsets. It's one of the nice perks that comes with this job, though these days I find that it's getting harder to get excited about them. As my collection grows, I'm starting to see some of the similarities in headsets: some lines have better audio, others have better feature sets, and one or two other lines are just plain crap. These days, for the most part, they're all pretty nice, but again, I'm kind of spoiled, and review units aren't doing much for me lately. (more)

Ultima Forever's announcement came as a surprise earlier this month: Bioware has apparently been working with Richard Garriott's old Ultima 4 property to create a new entry in EA's growing collection of free-to-play titles.
