Words are great – we've built an entire website on 'em – but sometimes you need visuals to help you, uh, visualize stuff. So go ahead and check out some Need for Speed: Most Wanted gameplay, embedded here in this very post. After all, it is Mike Schramm's most wanted game of E3 and he does not toss around such praise lightly. (more)

Although the trailer debuted earlier today, Konami has just dropped a website for Lords of Shadow 2, giving us some introductory info on the game's story, as well as some concept art, screenshots of the trailer, and a few MercurySteam development action shots. The website is also a decent hub for anything Lords of Shadow related, as it gives links to the developmental Twitter and Facebook feeds. (more)

Star Wars 1313 official, hopes to grab a mature audience

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1967 days, 10 hours, 28 minutes ago
Sunday, June 03, 2012 8:43:44 AM GMT
A new Star Wars third-person action game has been officially announced, called Star Wars 1313, and they are going after a mature audience with this one. I hope that means a complex and intelligent story, and not love scenes with Jabba the Hut. Players will get to run around the Star Wars universe as a not-yet-named bounty hunter. If that doesn't get you interested in this game then god help you. (more)

The game, Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation, is said to take place in New Orleans and "across the Gulf of Mexico" during the end of the French/Indian War, according to neoGAF user ImLibo, who supposedly received the July issue of Game Informer ahead of time. 2012 MotoCzysz E1pc may set an e-motorbike speed record, our hearts afire

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1967 days, 10 hours, 41 minutes ago
Sunday, June 03, 2012 8:30:54 AM GMT
Our first peek at the MotoCzysz E1pc was at the 2010 Isle of Man TT, where the fearsome-looking e-motorbike smashed potential speed limits, even if it didn't completely rock the two-wheeled establishment. Improvements were made in 2011, but the new 2012 model is the one that's really poised to upset the cart. The updated E1pc's most conspicuous changes are on the outside: it tackles the problem of wind resistance at high speeds by bringing on aerodynamic ducts and fins. (more)

Those who like to swing both ways will be glad to know that SkyDrive for the iPad now supports Apple's gorgeous Retina Display. Now, before you ask why the hell pixel density would be of concern for a cloud storage app, remember that SkyDrive also allows users to view photos and documents from within the application -- only now at a properly rendered 264ppi. Apple Newton celebrates 20 years of eating up Martha

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1967 days, 10 hours, 57 minutes ago
Sunday, June 03, 2012 8:14:33 AM GMT
History hasn't been particularly kind to the Newton. Apple's early play at the mobile device market has largely been a source of ridicule, considered a low point in the company's catalog. For every suggestion that the device was ahead its time, there are countless "eat up Martha" jokes. It's not hard to see why -- in spite of tenacious commitment on the part of John Sculley and co., the PDA never really took off, a fact blamed, in part, to hardware and software limitations. To mark the 20th anniversary o... (more)

Scientists Use Lego Robots to Create Artificial Bone

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1967 days, 11 hours, 17 minutes ago

Robotic machines have been used in the medical and research fields for years now, and are no longer fantasies taken straight out of a science fiction novel. Of course, the biggest benefit of these machines is the fact that tedious tasks can be automated to a precise degree of accuracy. While we may typically imagine industrial and lab robots to be large, expensive machines, it may be surprising to learn that some can even be made by your kids. (more)
