In case you missed it last month, Anonymous posted its intentions via Pastebin to shut down the Internet on March 31, 2012. This may be why LulzSec decided to rise from the ashes early, as by April 1 there probably won't be internet to showcase its new hacking prowess. (more)

Fatshark's Krater will make a hole in my wallet

The top-down RPG from Fatshark games (the folks behind Lead and Gold: Gangs of the West, and Bionic Commando: Rearmed 2), touts an intriguing setting and more than its fair share of seemingly nonsensical terms. Gerontocracy, a government ruled by the elderly, is something that I had to look at a few times before my brain recognized it as a legitimate term. (more)

posted by Pedro CubiasPedro Cubias 1881 days, 10 hours, 3 minutes ago
Wednesday, March 28, 2012 9:21:55 AM GMT
It feels like a map pack just came out for Gears of War 3 a few weeks ago, but in all actuality it's been a little over two months since "Fenix Rising" was released. Gears fans can rest easy as they finally have new content to check out in the "Forces of Nature" pack, which includes three brand new maps and two re-hashes of fan-favorite maps "Jacinto" and "Raven Down." The three new maps ("Artillery," "Aftermath," and "Cove") all have a theme centered around a specific natural disaster. I'll be honest, t... (more)

Samsung ships five million Galaxy Notes in just five months

Five is an important number for Samsung's Galaxy Note. It has a 5.3-inch screen and now, just five months since it debuted Samsung has announced it's shipped five million units (the one million mark was crossed right around the end of December). That's certainly long enough for you to decide if you're in love with its super-sized frame or the accompanying S-Pen stylus, but unfortunately it has not been quite enough time for the highly-anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich software update to be released.
